As we all continue to navigate these constantly shifting pandemic waters, we at ABAA are endeavoring to provide a safe and healthy environment for all 2022 Building Enclosure Conference participants and staff.

The responsibility for a safe and healthy event environment is shared among the event organizers, event venues, and event attendees. Towards this end, all Convention attendees are expected to comply with all applicable requirements imposed by federal, state, or local health and other governmental authorities. Furthermore, all attendees and staff are expected to adhere to and abide by the safety precautions ABAA and the venues will implement to help protect against the spread of COVID-19. These safety precautions include, but are not limited to, social distancing, where applicable; the use of masks/face coverings, as appropriate; personal hygiene and hand sanitization; and self-monitoring and self-reporting of symptoms associated with COVID-19 infections.

No attendance with COVID-19 symptoms. Regardless of vaccination status, you should not attend the Convention if you are experiencing, or within the 10 days prior to the start of the Convention, have experienced, signs and symptoms of COVID-19.

On-site precautions. Once on site, ABAA requests that all Convention attendees regularly and thoroughly wash or sanitize their hands throughout the day, observe social distancing guidelines where applicable, and, for all unvaccinated attendees, wear facial coverings in meeting and event spaces during the Convention (in accordance with CDC Guidance).

To assist attendees in complying with the above, the following will be provided:

– Disposable masks will be provided at the registration desk for those who wish to wear them. ABAA requests that all unvaccinated attendees wear a mask in meeting and event spaces during the Expo. Should state or local regulations or CDC guidelines be amended to require masks be worn at all indoor events, whether vaccinated or not, compliance with the same will be required of all participants.

– Hand Sanitizer stations will be positioned throughout.
